NHS and private flu vaccination now available at this pharmacy

We are now able to provide flu vaccinations to anyone qualifying for an NHS flu Jab free of charge and without an appointment. This service will be available daily throughout the 2018-19 flu season with the exception of some Saturdays and some days during half term. Please call ahead to confirm availability if making a special trip, to avoid disappointment. We can also provide flu jabs to anyone who doesn't qualify for an NHS vaccination at a cost of £12.50.

DECEMBER UPDATE -  Over 65's wanting a flu vaccination should contact their surgery as our stock has now been used up. We do have a small number of vaccines remaining suitable for under 65's which will be adminstered on a first come first served basis, however once these have gone we are unlikely to receive further vaccines.

Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire 2017/18

Every year we undertake an annual patient survey to enable our patients to provide valuable feedback on the services that we provide. The survey, undertaken by all community pharmacies in England, is called the Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire. The report of our survey results allows us to identify the areas where we are performing most strongly, the areas for improvement and the actions required to address issues raised by respondents. Our results for 2017/18 are provided here.

Electronic Prescription Service

This pharmacy offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you have nominated, this means:

  • If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving you time.
  • You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
  • You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
