Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire 2018/19

Every year we undertake an annual patient survey to enable our patients to provide valuable feedback on the services that we provide. The survey, undertaken by all community pharmacies in England, is called the Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire, The report of our survey results allows us to identify the areas where we are performing most strongly, the areas for improvement and the actions required to address issues raised by respondents. Our results for 2018/19 are provided here.

If you need any advice about the current outbreaks of coronavirus, please visit the NHS website which contains a wealth of sensible and practical information which is frequently updated.

Phone 111 if you are at all concerned that you might have been in contact with coronavirus, or if you feel unwell after visiting a virus hotspot.

Most pharmacies, including us have completely sold out of hand sanitiser so our advice is to wash your hands as frequently as you can, especially before eating anything, and keep unwashed hands away from your face.

Flu vaccination

It is that time of year again, every year the flu vaccine is updated to reflect the current strains around in the community.

Vaccines for all age groups are in stock and we are currently vaccinating at all times during opening hours.

We are still vaccinating those who are 65 or over and have a choice of vaccines available for this season

We administer both NHS and private flu vaccines

Electronic Prescription Service

This pharmacy offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you have nominated, this means:

  • If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving you time.
  • You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
  • You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
