Overview

The Spa Pharmacy was first established in 1838, and has been serving the local community of Montpellier in the heart of Cheltenham for over 150 years. We continue to provide high standard of service to the local area. We dispense both NHS and Private prescriptions, and can offer a fast repeat prescription collection and delivery service from ALL local Surgeries. We deliver, free of charge, to all areas of Cheltenham.

We offer free Medicines Use Reviews, The New Medicines Service and dispose of unwanted medications.  These are all NHS funded services.

We are open Monday to Friday 8.30am through to 5.30pm and on Saturdays 8.30am through to 1.00pm. Please note we do not close for lunch. We are closed on Sundays. These times may vary on Public Holidays and official Bank Holidays.

Electronic Prescription Service

This pharmacy offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you have nominated, this means:

  • If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving you time.
  • You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
  • You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
