Join our FREE NHS Medicine Delivery Service. 

Simply nominate Rutland Late Night Pharmacy as your pharmacy of choice at your doctors surgery. We will then automatically receive your electronic prescription when you order your medicines from your doctor - we can deliver free (within 15 miles of Oakham) or you can collect your medicines at a convenient time for you (we are open late 7-days a week)

We accept electronic prescriptions from any doctors surgery in England. 

Rutland Late Night Pharmacy aspires to be the first choice for NHS prescription and healthcare services. We are OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (including bank holidays!).

Our average prescription waiting times are less than 5 minutes! 

Our Pharmacist is an independent prescriber, and this allows us to offer a wider range of NHS and private prescription services for you and your family. 

Our specialist Care Home Service - allows nursing and care homes to rest assured that medicines will be delivered on time, every time. 

As well as dispensing NHS prescriptions additional healthcare services are provided in our specially equipped private consultation room. These include Flu Vaccinations, Travel Vaccinations (including Yellow Fever), Chickenpox vaccinations, Shingles vaccines, Meningitis B vaccine, Meningitis ACWY, Hay fever injections, Cholesterol and Blood Pressure Checks, Smoking Cessation services, Emergency Hormonal Contraception (Morning After Pill), Prescription Treatments for Erectile Dysfunction, Emergency Asthma Inhalers, Emergency Antibiotics, Period delay pills and lots more!

Aesthetic services and cosmetic injection services are also provided by our specially trained aesthetic pharmacist. 

We are an independent pharmacy and we welcome ideas on how we can improve our services to local residents and visitors to Rutland. We always act on feedback given to us and we will do our very best to meet the requirements of our patients and customers.

We are delighted to share the results of our patient questionnaire. We would like to thank all of our patients and customers for the excellent feedback. We have worked hard to improve our premises and our refit is now complete. We have a much larger dispensary upstairs and this has allowed us to inncrease the shop floor space downstairs. We have also increased our staffing levels so that we can offer an even more efficient service

Electronic Prescription Service

This pharmacy offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you have nominated, this means:

  • If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving you time.
  • You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
  • You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
