Open Early May Bank Holiday

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, we are changing our opening times until further notice. They are as follows:

Monday to Friday: 9am-6pm

Saturday: 9am-2pm

Nu-Ways Pharmacy is probably the oldest pharmacy in the area. We have been serving the local community since 1937.We are well known for our longer opening hours in Ruislip,Ruislip Manor,Ruislip Gardens and South Ruislip.

Longer opening hours -open until 7.00pm week days to accomodate late evening appointment with your GP.

 We work in partnership with all the surgeries in Ruislip, Ruislip Manor ,South Ruislip,Eastcote,Northolt and Northwood area.

  • Parking: FREE 30 Minutes parking on Bays on both sides of West End Road just outside the pharmacy, as well as plenty of parking spaces on Sidmouth Drive Car Park, just a 3 minute walk from  Nu-Ways Pharmacy.
  • If the landline phone is busy, please phone on Business Mobile: 07852 570001
  • Your NHS Prescriptions dispensed quickly and efficiently while you wait.
  • Repeat prescription ordering Nominate Nu-Ways Pharmacy in person or by calling  01895 632 883. Request your repeat prescription on your surgery's website by choosing Nu-Ways pharmacy as your pick-up point. you can also drop off  or post your request to your surgery and indicate that your prescription is sent electronically or in paper format to Nu-Ways Pharmacy.
  • If you are unable to collect your prescription, Nu-Ways Pharmacy will deliver to your doorstep
  • FREE NHS Stop Smoking Service
  • Electronic Prescription Service: which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Flu Jab

Free NHS Flu jab available if You

• Are aged 65 or over (or will turn 65 by 31 March 2020)

• Are pregnant

• Are a health or social care worker working in a residential or a nursing home, a hospice or with a home care provider

• Are a resident of a nursing or residential home

• Share a household with someone who has an impaired immune system

• Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 40 or more

Care for someone whose welfare may be at risk if you fall ill. Carer status may include:

• People aged 18 or over who are in receipt of a carer's allowance

• Those aged 18 or over who are the main carer for an elderly or disabled person

Have a certain medical condition such as:

• Diabetes

• Lung disease, including asthma if you're on a preventer inhaler

• Heart, kidney or liver conditions

• Lowered immunity due to disease (such as HIV) or treatment (for example steroid medication or cancer treatment) or you have had your spleen removed

• Long-term neurological conditions such as Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis

• A learning disability

Electronic Prescription Service

This pharmacy offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you have nominated, this means:

  • If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving you time.
  • You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
  • You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
