Overview

During these unprecedented times of Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, while we maintain the most essential pharmacy services, we consider our patients’ safety and that of our staff as paramount. This is a challenging task, which is why we have taken the following measures aimed at reducing risks to all concerned:

  • We are restricting customer numbers in the pharmacy
  • We have increased the frequency of our cleaning schedule since the beginning of the pandemic
  • We may on occasion have to close during our normal opening hours. We will do our utmost to remain open as much as possible between 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm from Monday to Friday
  • We kindly request that if you normally sign your prescription then bring your own pen
  • We ask you to follow the UK government’s advice (Coronavirus (Covid-19): what you need to do) and keep up to date with Public Health England guidelines

Please note that this is an evolving situation and we will try to update information as and when possible.

We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this period.

Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire 2019/20

Every year we undertake an annual patient survey to enable our patients to provide valuable feedback on the services that we provide. The survey, undertaken by all community pharmacies in England, is called the Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire. The report of our survey results allows us to identify the areas where we are performing most strongly, the areas for improvement and the actions required to address issues raised by respondents. Our results for 2019/20 are provided here.

Electronic Prescription Service

This pharmacy offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you have nominated, this means:

  • If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving you time.
  • You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
  • You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
