Travel information

Buses 173, 362, 387 and 396 all serve the hospital.
Bus 66 serves Eastern Avenue.

By train, closest station is Goodmayes (no disabled access). The station is 15 minutes from the hospital. The 387 bus is on the opposite side of the road from the station and comes into the hospital.

By tube, nearest stations are Dagenham Heathway (District line) then 173 bus, or Newbury Park (Central line) then 396 bus into the hospital.

By road from the M25, at J28 take the A12 to Romford. At the next roundabout (Gallows Corner) take the third exit continuing on the A12 to Ilford. At the fifth set of traffic lights, turn left into Barley Lane, the hospital is quarter of a mile down on the right.

Visiting information

We encourage relatives and friends to visit patients. Specific visiting times can be checked on the BHR Hospitals website - If the times are difficult for you, please tell the nurse in charge of the ward as it may be possible to arrange alternative times.

If you have an infectious condition such as a cold or stomach upset, please contact the ward for advice before visiting.
