Covid-19 update - Finchley Memorial Hospital walk-in centre will remain open but only as a minor injuries unit. They will also continue to triage for respiratory symptoms. Working hours will continue as normal (8am - 8pm).
Our NHS Walk-in Centres are staffed by teams of nurse practitioners who provide treatment and advice for adults on a range of minor illnesses and injuries, without an appointment.
Anyone can attend one of our walk-in centres, no matter where they are registered with a GP.
If you have any of the following conditions, a visit to one of our walk-in centres could be your best option for fast, effective treatment and advice:
- headaches, ear problems, sore throat
- sprains and strains
- wound infections (please note we do not re-dress wounds at our Hammersmith walk-in centre)
- minor burns and scalds
- minor head injuries
- skin conditions
- chest problems and abdominal pain
- insect and animal bites
- minor eye injuries
- injuries to the back, shoulder and chest
- emergency contraception
