King Street Walk in Centre is a nurse led service, open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, between the hours of 10.00-22.00. The last walk in session will be variable depending on service demand and we don't currently offer pre-bookable appointments. Please note our busiest times are between the hours of 10.00-12.00 Mon-Sun.
We have a dedicated team of experienced practitioners including nurse practitioners, advanced nurse practitioners and paramedics who are trained to diagnose and treat minor illnesses and injuries.
The Walk in Centre carries out streaming during the hours of 10.00-14.00 on weekends and Bank Holidays to see if we can improve the way in which the service is provided. After booking in, you may be called to a clinic room for a quick basic assessment by a health professional. This assessment will be used to decide how quickly you need to be seen by an Advanced Practitioner. Please be aware that you might not be seen in order of arrival.
