Overview

What is the Walk In Centre?

The Walk In Centre (WIC) treats minor illnesses and injuries requiring immediate care, where patients do not need to attend an A&E Department. It is not an alternative to your GP Practice, which should usually be contacted first especially for ongoing issues. If you are not currently registered with a GP our reception staff can give you information on how to register with a GP practice.

The Walk in Centre is open 7 days a week, from 8 am to 8 pm. If the Centre is exceptionally busy, we may need to close the booking process earlier and redirect patients to an alternative service.
