Overview

Whitestones is a registered provider of living accommodation for people who require nursing or personal care. Everything we do is driven by the needs, abilities and aspirations of our clients as far as is practicable. We are committed to the principle of consultation and full involvement of clients (or their representatives) at all stage.

Whitestones is available to clients such as older people and people with mental ill health, dementia, physical and sensory needs.

The property is set in a convenient place just outside the town centre in the beautiful countryside of Chapel en-le frith which is capital of the peak, set in the peak District, close to local amenities such as Morrison’s supermarket, nice places to eat out and a very nice memorial park.

We provide a range of health and social care support in partnership with other agencies.  We provide a regular programme of social activities, hobbies and leisure interests. This includes the choice and opportunity for people to participate as fully as possible in local community activities.

We support people’s right in care including their continued links to participating as a citizen of the wider community and to have emotional and social needs accepted and respected. We have procedures in place to safeguard clients and accessible and open procedures for addressing any suggestions or concerns raised by clients or their representatives.

Everyone choosing to live at Whitestones will have a support plan as a working document to identify their health and welfare needs, appropriate treatment, education and social needs, preferred daily routine, likes and dislikes dietary requirements, their interests and how they like to be addressed.

We provide good training for our staff and work to ensure they have the appropriate skill mix to meet the requirements of those who make Whitestones their home.
