Meadow View Community Care Centre is a registered provider of living accommodation for people who require personal care. Everything we do is driven by the needs, abilities and aspirations of our clients as far as is practicable. We are committed to the principle of consultation and full involvement of clients (or their representatives) at all stages. Meadow View is available to clients with older people’s needs including physical and sensory needs. We provide a range of health and social care support in partnership with other agencies. We provide a regular programme of social activities, hobbies and leisure interests. This includes the choice and opportunity for people to participate as fully as possible in local community activities. We support people’s right in care, including their continued links to participating as a citizen of the wider community and to have emotional and social needs accepted and respected. We have procedures in place to safeguard clients and accessible, open procedures for addressing any suggestions or concerns raised by clients or their representatives. Everyone choosing to live at Meadow View will have a support plan as a working document to identify:
- appropriate treatment
- their education and social needs
- their preferred daily routine
- their likes and dislikes
- their dietary requirements
- their interests
- how they like to be addressed.
We provide good training for our staff and work to ensure they have the appropriate skill mix to meet the requirements of those who make Meadow View their home. You can find out more about how we manage complaints and compliments, pressure care, falls, medicines and dementia care and managing deprivation of liberty/mental capacity act decisions, by opening the Derbyshire County Council – Care Management document attached to this page.
