The practice has unrivalled access to routine appointments.This relies on the avoidance of wasted appointments, so please ensure you attend 5 minutes early and cancel as soon as you can. We encourage tele-consultations which may suffice if you think you do not require an examination.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner appointment

We are delighted to anounce the appointment of a highly experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner who will be working with us to add to our nursing services. Our nurse is highly trained in the management of both acute and chronic conditions and will be working closely with the doctors to optimise acute & chronic care.

Please be aware that the practice has been undergoing significant renovation and undergoes redecorating and works quite frequently. 

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and reitrate that such works are done at practice expense for the welfare and comfort of the patients. 

For example we have have attached white non-porous acryllic sheets to the walls to prevent marks to the wall and allow for bleeching daily to ensure hygiene.

Practice nurse recruitment

We are delighted to anounce the return of a cherished and highly experienced practice nurse Ms Denise Newton who will be working with us 3 days per week. We will have a HCA for one day per week taking our nursing cover to every day apart from wednesday (open half day).

Tele-consultations save time for patients

Patient feedback has been extremely positive in relation to the usefullness of Face time & Whatsapp videocall appointments with Dr Fard. 

You can save time by arranging a call back from Dr Fard the next day on the phone / through Whatsapp / Face time. Please enquire by calling reception.

We will no longer have a Sit and Wait Clinic ( walk ins) starting at 8am. All Doctors appointments will be 48 Hours pre bookable or a few weeks pre bookable.

Rapid rise in patient list

We are delighted to announce that we have seen a rapid rise in our practice list (circa 25%) in one calender year owing to our excellent access to routine appointments and fast prescription turnover. 

We hope to continue to maintain access through recruitment of motivated Doctors as we welcome more patients.

We are delighted to welcome our new colleague Dr N Sandhu who is getting married soon and planning to start working with us 3 days per week from mid-February. Dr Sadhu is an exceptionaly bright and motivate new doctor with an interest in charity work and women's health. We are excited to have her join our team.

Local employees welcome! (it does not matter where you live)

We would like to welcome anyone who works locally to rgister with us in lights of our abolition of practice boundaries in order to cater for the local working population who struggle to take time off to see their GP. We feel that this would be a great help to the local community. This is especially poignant for the local legal community.

Bangali Advocate clinics

The practice runs friday morning clinics with the help of a Bangali advocate aimed at non-English speaking patients of the practice with double appointments per patient available. This has enabled non-English speaking Bangali patients to have their health concerns addressed fully without a language/ cultural barrier.

Late/ extended hours clinics

Every Thursday the practice runs a late evening clinic with bookable appointments until 8pm, giving an opportunity to all practice patients who struggle to attend daytime appointments to see a GP.

Of course, patient's attending just prior to the opening time of 8am have the opportunity to be seen promptly as soon as possible prior to work/ school run in the mornings.
