Dr Khatri's Surgery
out of 5
Based on 14 ratings for this GP surgery
The practice originally began in the early 1900's, although not on this site-it moved to the current site in 1976. In 1998 Dr Khatri took on the practice and re-designed and extended the building. (the building was once a Co-operative shop)
In the 1900's Astley was a picturesque little mining village. Over the years the greeness has somewhat disappeared, the colliery has been closed (although there is still a museum there) and a lot of new properties have sprung up and Astley has taken it's place as a favourite suburb of Manchester.
