We aim to provide a high standard of medical care in a friendly and professional manner.

We are constantly looking to improve what we do and welcome feedback either via text, e-mail or through the Friends and Family test which you can do via the Beechwood Medical Centre website. You can also review the surgery here on the NHS Choices website by clinking on the 'leave a review' tab.

We have made several changes to the way we operate in recent times. We can now use texting to remind you of appointments and tell you about new services. To receive this service, all you need to do is give us your mobile telephone number.

We have recently invested heavily in making our practice and staff user friendly. You can now book appointments online or by telephone 24/7 from anywhere in the world. To use the online system you need to register for the service. The automated telephone system simply requires that your date of birth and telephone number are accurately recorded by the surgery.

You can also request repeat prescriptions using the automated system but you will need your own PIN number. This can be obtained from reception and you only need to do this once.

With regard to complaints, complaining anonymously on this webpage does not allow us to investigate or resolve any issues. We would much prefer that you followed our investigations procedure which would result in a full investigation, explanation, and rectification if necessary.

Automated Telephone Booking System

Did you know that you can book, cancel or amend appointments anytime of the day or night. To do this you simply need to have your telephone number registered at the Practice and to know your own date of birth. Then you simply ring the normal Practice telephone number and select the automated option 1. You will then be given options to choose the appointment that you want. The system is designed for routine appointments only and also has a repeat prescription facility. Therefore you can now book an appointment or repeat prescription from anywhere in world at any time of the day or night. Please ensure that you keep your registered telephone number up-to-date to use this service. The telephone number remains at local geographic rates.
