Not Attending Booked Appointments

During the month of May 2018  110 patients did not attend appointments they had booked with the surgery to see a clinician.   As this practice together with other practices in Medway are under immense pressure meeting appointment demand which has been caused by increased housing developments we have made the decision to re-implement our 'Did Not Attend' (DNA) Policy.

WHAT WILL THIS MEAN TO YOU THE PATIENT - if 3 appoinitments are not attended within a 12 month perod, patients' may be removed from the practice list.  However, the practice will ensure all circumstances are taken into account as to why the patient did not turn up for their appointment.
