About
Warrington SENDIASS (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information, Advice and Support Service) provides free, confidential and impartial information, advice and support to parents and carers of children and young people with SEND, and to young people aged 16 to 25 who wish to access support directly.
We help children, young people, parents and carers to understand SEND processes, rights and responsibilities, enabling them to make informed decisions about education, health and social care support.
Although SENDIASS is funded by Warrington Borough Council, we operate independently and impartially to ensure that the views and interests of children, young people, parents and carers are represented and supported.
The service is supported by a multi-agency Steering Group, which helps to monitor, develop and improve the service.
Access to SENDIASS is through self-referral. Referrals can also be made by professionals with the consent of the child, young person, parent or carer, as appropriate.
Our service is confidential. Information will only be shared with other professionals where explicit consent has been provided by the child, young person, parent or carer, unless there is a safeguarding concern or a legal requirement to do so.
Opening times
9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 24 hour voicemail service

Full access to building with ramp, and rooms which are confidential.
