About

Together Information Exchange (TIE) is Doncaster's register of children with disabilities and additional needs, 0-19 years of age. The register contains confidential information on families with a disabled child, living in Doncaster. Families who wish to join TIE fill in an online form giving details of the child and the family's needs, which is stored on a secure database and covered by the Data Protection Act.

Once registered, a family will receive a free TIE Card which grants them discounts at various places in and around Doncaster, access to the Short Breaks holiday activity timetables and regular email updates about local activities and services.

It is hoped that people providing us with information about their situation will lead to a clearer picture of the main areas of need in Doncaster. Individual families are not identified in the production of statistics or service planning.
