About

The SFHT (Stable Family Home Trust) is a Registered Charity and was established by a group of families in 1980. They were seeking alternative care to the very limited choices available to them at that time. The first home was set up at Stables in Bisterne, Hampshire. Further houses were purchased as more people sought residential care from the organisation. Day services were developed to meet the needs of residents and other local people and the Trust now serves more than eighty people.
