Sunderland Carers’ Centre provides a confidential information, advice and support service to people looking after a family member, partner, friend or neighbour who due to illness, disability, frailty or addiction is unable to manage alone. The Centre has specialist workers who provide support to people who care for or are concerned about a family member, partner or friend with a drug or alcohol problem. The Centre also holds an evening group for carers of people with drug or alcohol problems every two weeks.
