Stoke-on-Trent Community Drug & Alcohol Service is a free, confidential service commissioned by Stoke-on-Trent City Council and delivered in partnership by WithYou and BAC O’Connor.
We support anyone in Stoke-on-Trent who is affected by drugs or alcohol – whether they are experiencing challenges themselves or supporting someone who is. This includes:
• People using drugs or alcohol
• Family members, carers, and friends
• Young people (under 18, or up to 25 where appropriate)
• People involved in the criminal justice system
• Members of the armed forces community
We’re not here to judge. We’re here to empower people to take control of their own journey, offering open, encouraging support along the way, including:
• One-to-one support from a Recovery Worker
• Group sessions
• Needle and syringe exchange
• Clinical support and medication
• Naloxone and harm reduction advice
• Blood-borne virus (BBV) testing (Hep B, Hep C, and HIV)
• Criminal justice support
• Ongoing recovery support through Stoke Recovery Service

Referral method
Adults over 18 in Stoke-on-Trent can self-refer to CDAS. The quickest way to do this is to visit our drop-in. Please see our websites for opening times.
Adults can also email referrals@sotcdas.org.uk or call 01782 283 113 to make an appointment.
You may also be referred by your GP, another professional or a family member.
