About

Wolverhampton Young Carers provides fortnightly group sessions for young people aged 8 to 18 who have a significant caring role at home.

We help Young Carers who are involved in the practical and/or emotional care of parents/siblings or other family members.

We provide:

•Advice and support

•Monthly Youth Clubs: Juniors age 8-13, Seniors age 14-18

•Extra activities during school holidays - outings and residential trips

•1:1 support from a worker

Seven week sessions that can be extended if needed.Young Carers Forum and Parents ForumWe actively seek the participation of young carers and their families within the project. The forums are a method of encouraging and enabling this.
