About

  • The School Nursing team supports children through their school years, from age 5 until they turn 19 (or up to 25 years for those with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)). We make contact at key transition stages of your child’s life (starting school, Year 6, and Year 9)
  • offer the National Child Weight Measurement programme at Reception and Year 6, which will include vision and audiology testing
  • and regular, confidential drop-in sessions in every secondary school so young people can discuss any health and wellbeing concerns with a School Nurse.
