Sight Support West Cumbria is dedicated to supporting visually impaired people throughout West Cumbria. Established in 1992, our charity aims to improve the lives of those living with sight loss by offering a range of practical and social support services.

Resource & Information Drop-in Centre: Visit us for advice, guidance, and access to information about living with sight loss.

Home Support & Telephone Befriending: We offer support in your home and regular friendly calls to help reduce isolation and promote independence.

Specialist Equipment: Our centre stocks a wide range of independent living aids and specialist equipment to help you manage daily life.

Advice for Individuals, Families, and Carers: We provide guidance and support to visually impaired people and their loved ones.

Social Activities & Support Groups: Join our social events and support groups held at several locations across West Cumbria to connect with others and share experiences.

Our services are designed to help visually impaired people live independently, stay connected, and access the resources they need.
