Sift is the UK's leading self-harm charity which supports people of all ages, genders and backgrounds affected by self-harm. They provide a free Peer Support service, available via referral from a health professional, and free Listening Support services via helpline, text and email - more information can be found on their website. They also provide self-harm awareness training for educators, health & care workers and other community groups.

Office: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. See website for Listening Services opening times.

Target group

People in the UK of all ages, genders and backgrounds affected by self-harm. Referrals for Peer Support are only available to people aged 18+.

Referral method

Peer Support is available only via referral from the NHS. Listening Support is accessible without referral.
