About

Shine (formally Great Yarmouth and Waveney Contact) was established in 1988 by parents of children with special needs to provide a free, confidential support service offering information, befriending, and advocacy services for parents and carers.

Over the years our organisation has grown to offer many other services. We are a family centred registered charity and our staff and volunteers have knowledge, experience and training in working with both the parents and their children. We also have very strong working links with statutory and other voluntary organisations within Norfolk.
