About
Root & Branch is an independent charity providing social and therapeutic gardening for adults experiencing mental health difficulties, including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma and persistent low mood.
We support individuals from towns and villages across the Vale of the White Horse and Swindon, offering a welcoming, safe environment where Participants can improve their mental health and wellbeing.
Our programme combines meaningful gardening and other therapeutic activities designed to support recovery, build confidence and develop new skills. A growing body of research shows that gardening and spending time in nature can significantly improve wellbeing, reduce stress and support good mental health.

Opening times
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10am - 1.30pm for registered service users.
Target group
General Public.
Referral method
Participants from Oxfordshire and Wiltshire under the care of a medical professional may be referred by them. Self-referrals and referrals by friends and family members are also welcomed. Please complete the referral form on our website or contact us directly
