About

Richmond Upon Thames Portage Service is free for pre-school children (0-5) who have marked learning difficulties, including Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

Portage is a home teaching service that assists parents/carers to help their children with learning difficulties to learn new skills and to develop so that they can take their place in the wider community. We strive to provide high quality advice and support to parents/carers in developing children's skills.

Our professional practice is monitored and evaluated through the portage model and the NPA Core Competency Framework and our service meets the criteria for registration with the National Portage Association.
