About
The PCPLD Network brings together services providers and carers for the benefit of people with learning disabilities at the end of life. It aims to enhance collaboration between all those involved in supporting people with learning disabilities at the end of life, and to share and promote 'best practice'. It is based on the belief that people with learning disabilities should receive all the co-ordinated help they need in living their lives to the full until the end of their lives.
The PCPLD does this through:
- Sharing relevant information and resources on its website
- Providing UK conferences
- Offering regional opportunities for networking, collaboration, exchange of ideas and development of local 'best practice'
- Recognising and sharing best practice through the annual Linda McEnhill Award
