One Voice is an organisation run by and for disabled people, offering help, information, advice and support and a say in decisions about their lives. Services provided include:

• Helps disabled people to have a say on a wide range of things that affect their lives. Also help the council, Wolverhampton Homes and other bodies to consult disabled citizens in a meaningful way. Any disabled Wolverhampton citizen or representative from a Disabled People’s Organisation can take part • Provides training for individuals and organisations, for both disability groups and individuals. Can also help with applying for jobs, training, benefits, housing etc • Helps people with benefits application forms, evidence gathering, and benefits appeals. We will also represent you at Benefits Appeal Tribunals on Disability Benefit Appeals • Helps local businesses and community groups with a wide range of things to do with disabled people and disability • WHACS (the Wolverhampton Health Advocacy Complaints Service) is a professional advocacy service for Wolverhampton citizens who have a complaint with the health service they have received
