Each and every week visually impaired people in Braintree, Witham, Halstead, Dunmow and their surrounding villages receive audio local news free from the Mid Essex Talking Newspaper.

Recordings are produced by the charity’s team of dedicated volunteers who edit read, record and copy each week’s output.

Each one has 90 minutes of local content because, while radio and television offers international, national and county news, it is only the local newspaper that tells you what is happening on your doorstep.
