About
Portage Parenting is a free early support service for families in Merton. It helps babies and young children (from birth to age 3) with significant additional needs or disabilities.
Portage Parenting works with families to support their child’s development, through fun, play-based activities, at home or in a group with other families.
Opening times
Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm all year round
Access
Portage Parenting is primarily a home visiting service. The team also run stay and play groups and parenting programmes in the Children’s Centres and Family Hubs.

Target group
Portage Parenting is for children aged 0-3 years old who have additional needs and who are not attending an early years setting.
Referral method
A referral form must be competed either by the parent/carer or a professional working with the family.
