About

We are a voluntary group and charity providing caring support in a homely and friendly environment, to help and support people affected by cancer, their families and friends. We provide emotional and practical support, complementary therapies, one – to one and group support sessions in a welcoming environment.

Our service is confidential and free, and lead by a team of Trustees, Key Volunteers and Volunteers with many years experience.

The Lyndale team are very aware of the many aspects of emotions and support needed following a cancer diagnosis. Quite often, our support is nothing more than a listening ear in our informal ‘drop in’ centre. We are passionate about helping others affected by a diagnosis of cancer.

Our shared experiences help in the fight against cancer. This is particularly important in Merseyside with the one of the highest incidence rates of cancer in the UK.
