NHS Health Checks are available at all Hillingdon general practices and also at six extended access hubs run by The Confederation Hillingdon.
Referral method
If you are 40-74 years old do not have a pre-existing cardiovascular condition and are registered with a Hillingdon GP you should be invited by your surgery for a free NHS Health Check every 5 years. Once you receive your invitation follow the instructions to book your appointment.
Description of service
The NHS Health Check is a simple check of your heart health. Aimed at adults in England aged 40 to 74, it checks your vascular or circulatory health and works out your risk of developing some of the most disabling – but preventable – illnesses. It is free of charge, including any follow-up tests or appointments.
