Referral method

Eligible clients will be invited to attend for a health check by their GP practice and One You Haringey have a programme of community events where they offer a health check.

Description of service

The NHS Health Check is a simple check of your heart health. Aimed at adults in England aged 40 to 74, it checks your vascular or circulatory health and works out your risk of developing some of the most disabling – but preventable – illnesses. It is free of charge, including any follow-up tests or appointments.

Service type

The NHS Health Check Programme is currently being rolled out within some practices in the East of Haringey and in one ward in the west of Haringey (Hornsey). Community Health Checks are offered by One You Haringey.
