About

Anybody who is unable to get to their local branch or mobile library is able to use the service. A member of library staff makes an initial visit to find out the reader’s interests and to do an informal risk assessment. The member of staff and a volunteer then do a joint visit. If this is successful then further visits are arranged directly between the reader and the volunteer.
