Service details
Trained advisers at our local stop smoking services can help you stop smoking. We have different support options to suit your needs and preferences through our local council Healthy Lifestyles Team (HLT) and participating local pharmacies.
Service offers:
· Free one to one support (in person, over the phone and video call)
· Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) and stop smoking medications provided
· Free vape starter kits through the Swap to Stop scheme
· Interpreter support
· A specialist children and young people stop smoking advisor (for over 12 years old)
· Pharmacy walk in service - no waiting list at convenient locations around the city
· Home visits, if you can’t leave the house easily due to a long-term health condition or illness
