- As a volunteer-led organisation, Headway South Manchester & Stockport is not staffed full-time and communications are not monitored continuously. Every effort is made to respond to enquiries as promptly as possible

Opening times
Headway South Manchester & Stockport operates a free weekly drop-in every Wednesday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at:

The drop-in provides an opportunity for people affected by acquired brain injury to access peer support, information, social activities and advice in a welcoming environment.
Attendance is free of charge, and referrals are made by contacting the branch directly by telephone or email.
Access
All venues used by Headway South Manchester & Stockport are fully accessible.
Catchment area
Stockport and South Manchester, but we will assist people so far as is reasonably practical outside the boundary where no other similar support exists.
Target group
Headway South Manchester & Stockport supports:
· Adults living with acquired brain injury.
· Family members, carers and friends.
· Health and social care professionals seeking information or guidance on available support.

Referral method
Individuals may self-refer or be referred by family members, carers or professionals by contacting the branch directly. While attendance at the weekly drop-in is free, additional services may be accessed privately or through local authority social care or NHS Continuing Healthcare funding, subject to assessment and eligibility.
