About
Headway provides social and cognitive rehabilitation for adults with brain injury and support and respite for their families.
They individually tailor programmes that are designed to maximise quality of life, independence and self-esteem.
Free carer advice and support services are available.
Opening times
Drop-In 1pm to 3pm every Wednesday at Bridgehall Community Centre, Siddington Ave, Stockport, SK3 8LX
Available for telephone, email contact etc, outside these hours.
Monthly meetings 3rd Thursday of each month from 7.30 pm to 9pm at Park View Resource Centre, Hardman Street, Stockport, SK3 0BJ.
Access
Venues are fully accessible.
Catchment area
Stockport and South Manchester, but we will assist people so far as is reasonably practical outside the boundary where no other similar support exists.
Target group
Brain injury survivors, carers, family and friends.
Referral method
- Individuals can commission services privately, or services may be accessed through social care and continuing health care funding
- subject to assessment for suitability.
