About PALS
The Patient Advice and Liaison Service, known as PALS, has been introduced to ensure that the NHS listens to patients, their relatives, carers and friends, and answers their questions and resolves their concerns as quickly as possible.
PALS also helps the NHS to improve services by listening to what matters to patients and their loved ones and making changes, when appropriate.
Information
Frenchay services have now transferred to Southmead Hospital. Southmead is run by North Bristol NHS Trust who does not operate PALS. Instead they have an Advice & Complaints Team who can be contacted on 0117 414 4569. A confidential answerphone where you can leave a message and contact details is available if the number is busy or for calls out of office hours (9am - 5pm Monday to Friday).
