About

Fish offer support to housebound and frail people within the areas of Barnes, Mortlake and East Sheen. Services include door to door help with weekly shopping, help with practical tasks and support from trained volunteers.

We are a voluntary neighbourhood organisation matching registered client users with registered volunteers who drive people to appointments, do shopping for people, sometimes help with gardening, befriending, escort client groups on our outings and bus shopping etc.

FiSH's coffee corner - drop in for a friendly chat with FiSH volunteers at Sheen Lane Centre, East Sheen on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings 10.30am - 12.30pm (not the first Friday of the month)FiSH's sessions - run at residential homes in the area for their residents (please ring the FiSH office for details)FiSH’s befriending service - provides one-to-one human companionship, someone to talk to, offer support and share problems either face to face or over the phone. It aims to improve the physical health and mental wellbeing of isolated older people.
