About
FACT Northampton is a voluntary parents' support group set up for the families of children and young adults with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Aspergers Syndrome and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. We are not professionals, but we all have experience of caring for a child with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder/ADHD.
We have an extensive library of specialist autism books and DVDS. We provide information, leaflets, refreshments and, most importantly, a friendly ear. We arrange speakers and also every other month the Autism Family Advisory Team attend the meetings to offer 1:1 sessions with parents.
We aim to support each other by sharing information and ideas, to empower parents of children on the Autistic Spectrum and for everyone to leave the group with a positive outlook by drawing on each other's personal experiences and strengths.
Opening times
During term time we meet the second Wednesday of the month at Cedar Road School Northampton, 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
