About

Diabetes UK is the Charity for people with Diabetes, their family, friends and carers. It is the largest organisation in the UK working for people with Diabetes, funding research, campaigning and helping people with the condition.

There are over 400 local voluntary groups across the UK who provide support and information for people with Diabetes. Set up in 2003, by Bill Foulkes, John Barclay and Marian McCullagh, the Barking & Dagenham Diabetes Support Group is one of these groups helping to improve the lives of local people with the condition.

The Group meets the 2nd Monday of every month except August.
