On Saturday mornings a plastic pouch drops on to the doormat of visually impaired citizens in Dacorum. The Dacorum Talking Newspaper has arrived, giving an hour of audio news to those unable to read the local paper.

The service is free, as is the postage to any visually impaired person. The charity is entirely dependent on voluntary donations. It has no permanent sponsorship from any local authority or industry.
