The NHS Health Check Service is available at a selection of GP practices and pharmacies in Croydon.
Referral method
If you are 40-74 years old without pre-existing conditions and are registered with a Croydon GP or you may receive a letter or text message inviting you for a free NHS Health Check every 5 years. Once you receive your invitation follow the instructions and contact one of the listed providers to access an appointment. If you are a Croydon resident and have not received an invitation by text or letter you can also contact any of the providers to receive a free NHS Health Check
Description of service
The NHS Health Check is a simple check of your heart health. Aimed at adults in England aged 40 to 74, it checks your vascular or circulatory health and works out your risk of developing some of the most disabling – but preventable – illnesses. It is free of charge, including any follow-up tests or appointments.
