About
Crossroads Care Slough is an independent local charity that has been supporting people across Slough and the surrounding areas for over 30 years. We provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to children, adults, older people, unpaid carers and families, helping people remain safe, independent and connected to their community.
As a registered charity and CQC-regulated care provider, every penny we receive is reinvested into supporting local people rather than generating profit. Our experienced, trained and DBS-checked staff deliver flexible care that is tailored to each person’s individual needs, preferences and goals.
Our services include:
· Personal care and support with daily living
· Dementia and Alzheimer’s care
· Medication prompts and assistance
· Companionship and respite for unpaid carers
· Shopping, meal preparation and light household support
· Support to attend appointments, community activities, places of worship and social events
· Community access and independent living support
· Children’s and family support services
· End of life and palliative support
· Tailored one-to-one and two-to-one care packages.
Alongside our regulated care services, we are proud to offer community wellbeing initiatives designed to reduce loneliness and social isolation. These include our weekly Support Hub, providing meaningful activities and social opportunities for adults who may otherwise attend a day service, and our monthly Community Connect – Empowering Lives Together events, which bring local people together for food, entertainment and companionship in a welcoming environment.
Whether you are arranging care for yourself, a family member or someone you support professionally, we work closely with individuals, families, health professionals and local organisations to develop flexible support that promotes dignity, choice, independence and wellbeing.
At Crossroads Care Slough, our aim is simple: to help people live well at home, support unpaid carers to continue caring if they wish, and strengthen connections within our local community.
