About

Coastal Accessible Transport Service are a community transport service that enables disabled, mobility-impaired and rurally isolated people to remain part of their community and access the normal activities of life. The service enable them to get out to doctor's and dentist's appointments, and also to go shopping, visit friends or attend lunch clubs and day centres. CATS also operate the “Connecting Communities” demand responsive public bus services in the Woodbridge/Bawdsey/Orford, Framlingham/Saxmundham/Wickham Market, Aldeburgh, Leiston, Saxmundham and Walberswick areas. All vehicles are accessible and some can be booked by community groups, including a small MPV which can be hired to enable frail or disabled family members to attend family gatherings including Christmas lunch!
