About
Centre 33 provides a range of services for young carers. All support is free and confidential.
Our Young Carers Project can help you by:
- Providing someone to talk to.
- Working with you to make sure you have the support you need
- Talking to school or other professionals with you or on your behalf.
- Helping you with big changes in your life (like starting a new school)
- Inviting you to activities for a break, fun, and new friends from similar situations.
Opening times
We answer the phones from Monday to Friday 12noon-5pm and from 10am-1pm on Saturdays. The rest of the time you can leave a message and we’ll call back as soon as we can.

Referral method
Young carers aged under 13 can be referred by a professional such as a teacher at school, a family worker or social worker or a parent/guardian or family member. However they must have parental/guardian consent. Young carers aged 13 and over can self-refer without parental consent for support.
