About
The British Thyroid Foundation (BTF) is a charity dedicated to supporting people with thyroid disorders and helping their families and people around them to understand the condition. Established in 1991 we work with medical professionals including the British Thyroid Association (BTA), and the British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons (BAETS) to ensure that the information we provide is reliable and evidence based. Our aims are to provide clear information on all types of thyroid disorders, to provide support and raise awareness, to help establish local groups and to raise funds for research.
