About

The Community Transport sector plays a large part in the delivery of transport for people who are unable to access conventional public transport services for a variety of reasons including mobility difficulties, lack of public transport, cost etc. Many schemes also provide community group transport for leisure and social outings, thus helping to promote social inclusion.

BCT provides community transport services via their social car scheme which involves volunteers driving their own cars, and also by using a small fleet of minibuses, driven by both staff members and volunteers. There are also a number of day trips arranged throughout the year.
