Age UK Knaresborough & District (formally Age Concern Knaresborough) has been in existence since 1982 and it is interesting to see how it has evolved from its humble beginnings into the sucessful and vibrant organisation that it is today.
It all began by accident, when a group of mums found themselves chatting in the playground at Aspin Park Primary School and were of the opinion that older people in Knaresborough needed more help and support than was available to them at that time.
